Borgore just dropped this mix about a week ago for MistaJam’s “Daily Dose of Dubstep.” It is a killer of a mix, with Borgore’s signature sound and filthy bass lines. Borgore throws in some awesome “guest appearances” from big names like Tomba, Figure, and Roksonix. Those of you in the Philly area are in luck because Borgore is bringing his party to the TLA on the 8th. For more info check out the event page. You can also check Borgore’s soundcloud for more of his music.
First off my appologies to the Night Kids they sent me this track a while ago and it got lost in my email. I came back across it and when I realized I didn’t post it I had to give my self a facepalm. Anyway the Night Kids are a group of 4 from New York, I saw them when they played with Zeds Dead and they were real good. You can tell from their energy they were having a blast on stage. And I don’t need to tell you about Khadafi, I have seen him so many times live and he always puts on a show. Anyway enjoy this tune, better late then never.
What better way to start off you Monday then with an Earthquake? Alvin Risk turned Steve Aoki’s newest hit and turned it into an absolute banger of a song. I first heard Alvin when he worked with Tittsworth on moombahton EP. Since then he has really taken off, doing remixes for Aoki and Kill the Noise. Keep an eye on him because he is going to blow up in 2012.
Heres a video of Flux Pavilion’s newest track “Superbad” it’s a new direction for Flux but I personally love it. It’s a fun jam with some crazy sax. The one thing I love about Flux live is that he doesn’t have a crazy stage setup, and you can tell he’s all about the music when he plays. It was an amazing experience seeing him and Doctor P a few months ago and I can’t wait for them to make their way back over here.
These Monday mixes we not sent to me, but the person who makes does them is one of the biggest insperations to me when it comes to putting together an amazing mix. Her name is Reid Speed, and for those who don’t know her she is one of the best DJ’s in the country. She also runs one of the best dubstep labels; Play Me Records. Now with fair warning though Reid may look sweet, but her mixes combine some of the heaviest bass out there so be ready. These mixes go from recent to a little older, but they are all so good I couldn’t just pick one.
Hop over to her soundcloud for even more mixes and originals.
Pretty Lights just released this new track which he dropped when I saw him in Atlanta with Bassnectar back to back. The show was one of the best I’ve ever seen with both guys going all out. This remix is epic as usual, and this video shows you just 4 minutes of the two days of madness.
